How to Apply Your Temporary Tattoo
For the best results, start with clean, dry skin.
If the area has noticeable hair, shave it first. This helps the tattoo adhere evenly and last longer.
Step 1. Prepare Your Skin
Then clean the skin using the included alcohol wipe to remove oils, lotion, and dirt. Allow the skin to dry completely before applying the tattoo.
For the best results, apply your temporary tattoo only to clean, dry, and healthy skin. Choose smooth areas that are free from rashes, irritation, cuts, acne, excessive body hair, or other skin conditions. Tattoos adhere and last longer on areas that are less prone to oil production. To ensure maximum durability, avoid rubbing or scrubbing the tattoo during the first 48 hours, especially while showering. Gently wash the area with water and mild soap, and pat dry with a soft towel. Avoid using washcloths, loofahs, or exfoliating products on the tattoo during this initial period. Proper application and gentle aftercare will help your temporary tattoo achieve the best appearance and longest wear.
Remove the clear protective film from the tattoo. Place the tattoo face down on clean, dry skin. Thoroughly wet the included application sponge with water. Press the wet sponge firmly over the entire tattoo for about 30 seconds. Apply even pressure without rubbing or sliding the sponge. Carefully peel away the backing paper. Tip: Avoid rubbing the tattoo while it’s transferring, as this may distort the design.
Step 2. Apply the Tattoo
Your tattoo will continue developing over the next 24–36 hours, becoming darker and more realistic.
Please note: The final tattoo color and the time it takes to fully develop may vary depending on your skin type, skin condition, and individual skin characteristics.
During this time: Wear loose clothing whenever possible. Sleep in a long-sleeve shirt for the first two nights if the tattoo is on your arm. Avoid skin-to-skin contact while sleeping to prevent transfer.
Step 3. Let It Develop
After two nights, your tattoo is fully developed and ready to enjoy. With proper care, it can last up to 2 weeks, depending on placement, skin type, and daily activities.
